Wh-questions: What & Which

The question words “which” and “what” tell the listener that they have been given a choice question.

Example A

A: How do you live with your noisy roommates and get your homework finished? I feel like that would be such a distraction.

B: Haha. That’s not a problem because I usually go to the library to complete my work.

A: Really? The library is a little too quiet for me. I enjoy working at cafés and parks.

B: I suppose any place is better than being at home.
